Ugggh Christian <3 he's the head scientist at Mercia Fortress, and was the first to approach Cog when he moved in. He's Cog's first and most important friend beside Boris.

When Cog was relocated to the fortress, he was unable to get any work, and therefore had no money to keep up with rent and pay for meals. Christian realised this, and purposely smashed his watch every morning to give to Cog to fix. He would then pay him with enough money for food.

When Cog is taken to Arcadia, Christian personally researches the case of his father, as well as Alexander's own background to get him back.

I just realised they both have at least one hand in their pockets LOL.
